Types of Care
Choose Your Age Group
Kids United provide full and part time day care from 1 year upwards.
All activities are appropriate to each age group and are planned to meet the diverse needs of each child. The age ranges quoted are only a guide as every child develops at a different pace, so parents shouldn’t get anxious if their child doesn’t move onto another stage within a given period. The emphasis throughout is that children should be able to develop at their own pace and in a setting where they are enjoying themselves and having fun.

This is an exciting environment for children to find their feet and become more co-ordinated. The children spend much of their day experimenting, exploring and beginning to socialise.

In the Butterfly Room, the day is based around both routine and the children’s interests, whilst following the Aistear curriculum.

The Ladybird Room incorporates Aistear into the Montessori method of education. The Montessori method is an approach that values the development of the whole child.

The Bumblebee Room is a play-based environment which also incorporates elements of the Montessori method of education.

Through a play-based curriculum, each child is given the time to explore, make choices and engage in a range of age appropriate activities.

Our after school service caters for children from 4 years +. During the afternoon children can avail of a number of activities.
Our curriculum is linked to the Aistear Framework, the new curriculum framework developed by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA), to ensure that your child receives the best possible start to their learning in a stimulating and encouraging environment. The aim of the Framework is to help every child to grow and develop as a competent and confident learner within loving and nurturing relationships with adults and peers.
All our rooms are bright and spacious, containing lots of enriching activities for everyone to enjoy.
All children have access to our outside play area which is fully equipped to allow the children to develop both gross and fine motor skills, physical control mobility and co-ordination. Weather permitting we go outside at least twice during the day and in the summer months as often as we can.
