Welcome to Kids United
Creche & Montessori Centre in Dublin

We aim to create a learning environment where every child feels respected and supported.
As a family owned organisation, Kids United aim to provide a ‘home from home’ atmosphere where all children have the opportunity to grow physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually by playing, exploring and learning with others in a fun, safe and healthy environment.
Kids United Classrooms
Stimulating environments for each age group
Caterpillar Room
This is an exciting environment for children to find their feet and become more co-ordinated. The children spend much of their day experimenting, exploring and beginning to socialise.
Butterfly Room
In the Butterfly Room, the day is based around both routine and the children’s interests, whilst following the Aistear curriculum.
Ladybird Room
The Ladybird Room incorporates Aistear into the Montessori method of education. The Montessori method is an approach that values the development of the whole child.
Bumblebee Room
The Bumblebee Room is a play-based environment which also incorporates elements of the Montessori method of education.
Dragonfly Room
Through a play-based curriculum, each child is given the time to explore, make choices and engage in a range of age appropriate activities.
After School Care
Our after school service caters for children from 4 years +. During the afternoon children can avail of a number of activities.
Our Curriculum
Kids United follows the Aistear Early Childhood Curriculum Framework and Síolta, The National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education.
Aistear’s four key areas of development are:
- Communication
- Well-Being
- Identity and Belonging
- Exploring and Thinking

Each child has a learning journal which documents their time and development throughout the year, containing photographs, stories and drawings.
A copy of the weekly curriculum plan is available in each room. Themes are changed monthly. Each room has long term goals which they aim to achieve with the children throughout the year. Individual observations are recorded and shared with parents.
Staff plan the weekly activities based on observations, so each plan suits the age and stage of development of the children in the room.
