The Dragonfly Room offers a nurturing, play-based curriculum guided by Aistear and the national curriculum. We provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where each child is encouraged to explore, make choices, and learn at their own pace.
The room is carefully organised into a range of engaging interest areas, including a home corner, tabletop activities, and construction play. These spaces inspire creativity, curiosity, and imagination.
Each morning includes a balance of adult-led and child-led activities, both indoors and outdoors. Learning through play supports children’s social, emotional, and physical skills, whilst also encouraging independence and confidence.
