Pre-Montessori
The children in this room are introduced to a more structured day as the Pre-Montessori
room offers an introduction to the Montessori programme and routine, whilst respecting
the age of the children.
The routine includes circle time where the current topic is discussed together with related songs and stories. This is followed by an introduction to early Montessori materials.
The children also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, such as painting, sand and water play, construction toys and imaginative play.
Independence, listening and sharing are all encouraged during the daily routine.
During your child's time in this room we will also work with you on toilet training when you decide the time is right.
